help me plzzzzz

hii i am creating an ajax enabled webapplication using visual studio 2005 and sqlserver 2005..now i am in deep trouble.. i want to edit the datas in the datagrid...but not in the normal way.. but if u click the edit link in the datagrid a pop up must come, and i must edit it within the pop up....for the pop up,i am using AJAX... i had created all the forms and all. but now i am stuck... no idea how to do proceed... plz help me...
