Dropdown list bound to database field

I'm using ASP.Net with C#. I have an integer field (0 to 3) in a SQL Server database. I want to bind this to a Dropdown list on my asp.net page. I have a Repeater control, within which I have my dropdown list.
How can I select the value of the option in the Dropdown based on the value of the integer field in the table? I'd greatly appreciate any help.

i will give you a tip use a datagrid instead of the repeater in that way you can use the datagrid item dataitem events. i had this same problem before and i used a datagrid and it served the purpose
